INSTALLER ENHANCEMENTS

This section describes improvements and fixes to the installer.

Enhanced Installer Compatibility

The SendSuite Live Installation and Updates utility can now install version 6.6.

Corrected Issue with Re-Installing after an Uninstall

Fixed an issue whereby the product would not uninstall cleanly, causing errors upon re-installation.

SUPPORT ITEMS

This section includes items that have been raised via Support and escalated to Development for resolution within this release.

Midland Courier. Resized Manifest Barcode

The barcode on Midland Courier Manifests has been resized to prevent problems when scanning.

XSys. Extended TLS 1.2 Support

Added the ability to use a TLS 1.2 secured SQL connection with XSys.

OTHER CHANGES

This section contains information about minor changes and corrections. It can include issues raised in previous releases that have been corrected.

Internationalization. Improvements to Translations

• Shipment Server Configuration’s Reference Data now includes a new page, Languages, that allows for adding a new language that can be then selected as a target language through the Internationalization tab.

IMPORTANT! Added languages must be supported by the server/workstation the product is installed on.

• Improved import process error handling to ensure informative feedback is passed back to the user through Diagnostics.

Client Scale Component. Improved Installation

The Client Scale component now installs correctly, including when installing over older versions of the component. Previously, this had the potential to affect performance, even following an installation with no errors.

Shipment Requisitions. Updated Content Item Entry

The Content Item Entry component now loads data correctly when the GetPendingContents method is called.

Login. Updated HTTP Process

A GET request is now the only allowed method for project template login, replacing instances in which POST requests were used.

Tracking. Shipments Maintain Local Timezones

The recorded time of tracking actions now remains as passed from the carrier. Previously, it converted to the user’s timezone.

Add Carrier Utility. Fixed Issue with International Label Symbol

Fixed an issue with Add Carrier Utility not saving the international label symbol correctly.
