How to enable SSL LDAP on EngageOne

Product Feature: Installation / Upgrade

Operating System: Windows / Linux

Database: Oracle / MSSQL

Configuration: NA

To change EngageOne to use SSL for LDAP (LDAPS) you will need to do the following (this change needs to occur one EngageOne has been installed using just normal LDAP):

Open the 'config-settings.xml' file located in the 'active-drive\config' folder

Search for the following -
<setting>
<key>LDAP.Port</key>
<value>389</value>
</setting>

<setting>
<key>LDAP.SSL</key>
<value>false</value>
</setting>

Change the port to match the port the network admin has configured LDAPS for, then change the LDAP.SSL value to be true. Restart the application server to make the changes take effect.
