Uninstalling EngageOne Vault using vaultservices.bat

UPDATED: November 23, 2018

  1. Open an elevated command prompt (using 'Run as Administrator') in the ‘Vault\server\tools’ directory. Default path is 'C:\Program Files (x86)\PBBI CCM\Vault\server\tools'.
  2. Execute Batch vaultservices.bat stop to stop the Vault Services.
  3. Execute vaultservices.bat uninstall to un-register the Services. Execution of this command will remove services from 'Services Console'.
  4. Delete complete 'Vault' directory.
If there is any additional component(s) of Vault is installed on the machine, before removing Vault directory (step #4), corresponding service has to be stopped and uninstalled using ‘–u’ parameters with the executable name. For example, an additional server component (e2Serverd) is running on the Windows Server with name ‘e2Serverd-2.exe’, then:
1)  Stop corresponding service from 'Services Console'.
2)  Open an elevated command prompt, browse to directory containing 'e2Serverd-2.exe' and execute following command:
e2Serverd-2.exe -u

This process needs to be repeated to un-install all the additional Vault component(s) installed on the Windows Server.
