How to configure ports for DTC to Work Through a Firewall with Portrait Dialogue

While installing Portrait Dialogue, some ports should be unblocked for the DTC to work through the Firewall.
DTC uses Remote Procedure Call (RPC) dynamic port allocation.
By default, RPC dynamic port allocation randomly selects ports numbers above 1024.
By modifying DTC setup, the RPC dynamic allocation for incoming communication can be controlled.
The Firewall can be configured for and external communication to only those ports and port 135.

For detailed information about the port configuration in Portrait Dialogue (any version), refer MTS DCOM setup guide.
