How to set up a PresortXtra letter preset on the DM100i, DM125, DM200L, and DM225

Note: If you need Drop Ship service, but your meter is not set up for it, contact PresortXtra Support at 866-624-5724.

Follow these steps to set up your PresortXtra letter preset:
Set the rate:
  1. Press Home.
  2. Enter .428
  3. Press Yes/Enter.
Add the inscription:
  1. Press Page Down.
  2. Select INSC.
  3. Press Select an Inscript.
  4. Select Presort First CL.
  5. If Drop Ship is needed:
    1. Press Page Down.
    2. Select Ad.
    3. Press Select and Ad.
    4. Select Drop Ship.
Save Preset:
  1. Press Custom Preset.
  2. Select Define New Preset.
  3. Select Yes: Store Preset.
  4. Type in unique preset name and select OK.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Press Home to return to the Home screen.

Before running PresortXtra mail, remember to advance the date and set the batch counter to learn the number of mail pieces you have:
Advance the Date:
  1. Press Options.
  2. Select Advance the Date.
  3. Select Add One Day once.
  4. Press Yes/Enter.
Reset the batch counter:
  1. Press Funds.
  2. Press Page Down.
  3. Here you can see the Batch Count and Batch Value, or select Clear Batch Values to reset the counters.
