Setting up a PresortXtra letter job on the Connect+ series and SendPro P series

Note: If you need Drop Ship service, but your meter is not set up for it, contact PresortXtra Support at 866-624-5724.

Follow these steps to set up a PresortXtra job:
Select the rate:
  1. From the Home screen, select Run Mail.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Select Create a New Job.
  4. Select Postal Job.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Select Class.
  7. Select the back button until First Class Commercial displays.
  8. Select First Class Commercial.
  9. Select Automation.
  10. Select Letter.
  11. Select Mixed AADC.
  12. Select OK.
Advance the Date and add the inscription:
  1. Select Edit Envelope.
  2. Select Today + 1 day.
  3. Select Postal Inscription.
  4. Press Select from list...
  5. Arrow down and select AW22249.
  6. If Drop Ship is needed follow these steps otherwise go to step 7:
    1. Select Text messages & return addresses.
    2. Select the saved drop ship.
    3. Press OK.
  7. Select OK.
Save the job:
  1. Select Save As.
  2. Type a unique name for your job.
  3. Press OK.
Before running PresortXtra mail, remember to advance the date and set the batch counter to learn the number of mail pieces you have. The counter total is always displayed at the bottom of the Run Mail screen.
To reset the counter:
  1. Press the Resettable counter button.
  2. Ensure that resettable is selected.
  3. Select reset to zero.
  4. Press OK.
