How to format SQL for use in Confirm data sources

It is highly recommended to format your SQL script to conform to SQL standards, particularly where long queries are concerned. This has the combined benefit of reducing the chance of error due to incorrect characters or spurious formatting plus makes the SQL more readable and comprehensive. Format your SQL script correctly prior to including it in a Confirm data source.

There are multiple external websites available which can do the SQL formatting for you. A good example is You just need to
1. Enter (or paste) your query into the upper box provided on this page and then
2. Click Format SQL to make your query formatted/readable/indented.
