Sagent server (64-bit) performs disk sort even when memory sort transformations are used in the flow

UPDATED: September 1, 2017

Memory Sort Transform and the implicit automatic disk sort present in some other transforms like Join and Comparison. These are virtually same as Disk Sort except that they provide fewer configuration parameters in their dialogs than Disk Sort does and instead use default values for those parameters.

During a disk sort, records are sorted using the allocated buffer. The allocated buffer is specified in the Disk Sort transform dialog as Max Blocks in Memory and as DiskSortMaxMemBlocks in Sagent Admin settings used by Memory Sort transform and the implicit Automatic Disk Sort.
