How to change the Location of the Vendors Directory Post-Install in eMessaging for EngageOne Digital Delivery

Operating System: AIX

Configuration: WebSphere
 
In order to change the location of the "Vendors" directory, the following steps should be taken:

1) Stop the application server (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.)
2) Find the rootfolder.properties file located at: <install path>\e-Messaging\core.war\WEB-INF\classes
3) Find the line that begins with "folder.root=" and change the directory path to the desired location.
4) Save your changes.
5) Remove all temporary files from your application server.
6) Restart the application server

At this point, eMessaging should point to the new Vendors directory location.

Please note: No additional changes to eMessaging or the database are necessary.
