Updating your ZIP Code on the DM100i-DM225

Products affected: DM100®i, DM125™, DM200L™, DM225™
The ZIP Code printed by your postage meter should be either your ZIP Code or the ZIP Code of the post office picking up your mail. Your ZIP code prints as part of the postal indicia.

If your ZIP code must be changed, Pitney Bowes must prepare a new ZIP Code for you to download to your meter.
  1. Create a case for Pitney Bowes support to request that your new ZIP Code be prepared for you to download. Have your model number and the new ZIP Code ready. You cannot complete the rest of these steps until Pitney Bowes has prepared your new ZIP Code.
  2. Once your new ZIP Code has been prepared, connect your meter to the Pitney Bowes Data Center.
  3. Press Add Postage.
  4. Press Page down.
  5. Select Check PBP Balance.
  6. Press Enter.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer.
