Setting or disabling the Lock Code on the DM100i-DM200i and DM110i-DM220i

The Lock Code feature prevents unauthorised access to the system after the meter has entered sleep mode, or when it is powered up.

Once a lock code is set, to lock the meter press the Power / Lock button (to the right of the Page Up/Down keys) and select Lock the meter.
To unlock, wake the meter by pressing any key, enter the 4-digit pin and press the Yes/Enter key.

To access the Lock Code menu:
  1. Press the Options key.
  2. Press Page Down twice.
  3. Select Lock Code / Passwords.
  4. Select Meter Lock Code.

To activate the Lock Code feature and set a Lock Code:
  1. If the Lock Code feature is not yet enabled, the Meter Lock Code menu will display Enter New Lock Code.
  2. Enter a new 4-digit Lock Code and select Continue.
  3. Re-enter the new Lock Code to confirm and select Continue.
  4. The meter confirms that the Lock Code has been enabled. Select Continue.
  5. Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.

To change the Lock Code:
  1. At the Lock Code / Passwords menu, select Meter Lock Code. If there is an existing Lock Code, the system prompts for the 4-digit code.
  2. Select Change Lock Code.
  3. At the prompt, enter a new 4-digit Lock Code and select Continue.
  4. Re-enter the new Lock Code to confirm and select Continue.
  5. The meter confirms that the Lock Code has been changed. Select Continue.
  6. Press Home to return to the Home screen.

To disable the Lock Code:
  1. At the Lock Code / Passwords menu, select Meter Lock Code. If there is an existing Lock Code, the system prompts for the 4-digit code.
  2. Select Disable Lock Code.
  3. At the prompt, enter the 4-digit Lock Code and select Continue.
  4. The meter confirms that the Lock Code has been disabled. Select Continue.
  5. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
