If a table used in a workspace is deleted, renamed or moved to a new location the workspace may not open properly in MapInfo Pro.
There are a number of tools available to resolve workspace file problems:
- Tools>Tool Manager>Workspace Resolver will allow you to edit any problem.
- Discover>Table Utilities>Open Workspace Advanced will allow you to find the problem in the workspace file, and skip or correct these.
- Discover>Table Utilities>Workspace Editor will aid in batch editing the file paths when the data file locations have changed.
As a workspace file is a text file that can be opened with any text editing software, you can also use the Search > Find in Files function in Notepad++ to find and replace particular references.
