Configuring the Confirm Task Processor for a restored Confirm database


 
Once the Confirm database has been restored to the new location, make sure that the Broker Service and task scheduling has been correctly configured as per the Task Processor installation documentation for the relevant version.

The Task Processor installation documentation is available within the software download media folders.

Errors such as "Executed as user: Confirm. Broker is not enabled on DB" indicate that the relevant SQL scripts have not created and run for the database in the restored location.


This SQL can be used in SQL Server to see what brokers there are, if they are enabled and if their ID is unique.


SELECT
  name,
  is_broker_enabled,
  service_broker_guid
FROM
  sys.databases;

Correcting brokers is a database problem rather than a Confirm-specific one.
