Confirm - EToN permits not exporting

When sending notices via Eton the message appears in the log file: 

"Unable to connect to the remote server"

This means that the server is unable to speak to the outside world either due to an issue with firewalls or changes to a proxy server.

The issue has not been caused by the Confirm software, but the servers hosting Confirm.
