How to determine if there are any code changes needed for the Address Line Extraction Module (EXTADDR2) introduced in CODE-1 Plus 4.0

Products Affected:  CODE-1 Plus
If not currently calling the EXTADDR module, the Address Line Extraction Module introduced in CODE-1 Plus 4.0 will not have any impact on calls to C1MATCHx, and no changes will have to be made to existing code.  Below is the information on the Address Line Extraction Module:

Address Line Extraction Module (EXTADDR2)
The CODE-1 Plus™ 4.0.0 release included a new Address Line Extraction Module (EXTADDR2). The EXTADDR2 module replaced the previous Address Line Extraction Module (EXTADDR). The Address Line Extraction Module (EXTADDR2):

1. Accepts up to six address lines as input.

2. Processes the input address lines and returns the following fields:
• Primary address field
• Secondary address field
• Firm name field
• Urbanization name field for Puerto Rican addresses
• City/state
• ZIP Code

3. Passes the returned fields to the CODE-1 Plus matcher to code the address.

4. Returns input information that was not used to create the returned fields. This unused information is not necessary for the matcher to code an address and is being provided for your convenience.
