Changing the output sequence of the mailing using SRTFLD, SRTFLn, or xxx SQ parameters in MailStream Plus

Product affected: MailStream Plus™, all versions, all platforms
The MailStream Plus™ (MSP) Guide lists all of the available parameters and how to use them.  For more information about the below, please consult the Guide for your version of the software.

By default, MSP uses SRTFLD 0001 as the output sequence.  The definition of this output sequence can be found in the MSP Guide.
There are also several other 'pre-canned' SRTFLD sequences.  They all have been tested and approved as making valid presorts.

There are also SRTFLn parameters, which allow a user to make a custom output sequence, by manually selecting what the sort hierarchy will be.

As it says in the Guide in the the text for the SRTFLn parameter-
"Using custom SRTFLn parameters can result in invalid presorts.  Users must verify that the resulting presort meets USPS regulations."

SCF SQ and NDC SQ can be used to modify the order of pallets, trays/sacks, bundles in regard to SCF and NDC portions of the sort.  These work *within* an entry point, they do not combine entry points to sequence all NDCs of SCFs across a mailing.  SCF SQ and NDC SQ are discussed in a separate Knowledge Base article.

There is also a ENT SQ that can be used to sequence the entry points themselves.  It is discussed in a separate Knowledge Base article.
