Returning your meter

If you have just upgraded your machine or terminated your contract with PB, you will be required to return your old meter.



Machine upgrade
  • Self-Install Machine
If you have upgraded your self install machine, you will have received a ‘Collection Request Form’ in the box with the new machine. Please complete this form and email it to our IRSC mailbox.
 
Once we have received your completed form, Pitney Bowes will arrange for a courier to collect your old machine within 5 working days. The courier will contact you directly with details regarding the date and time of the collection.
 
Note: The meter you are returning must be placed in a box for the courier to take it. It does not need to be placed in its original box. However, must be in a box large enough to close and seal.
 
Self-Install Machines:
DM50/DM55 (K721/K724), DM100/DM150/DM200 (P720), DM300c/DM400c/DM475c (G920), DM60 (K722), DM110i/DM160i/DM220i (PR20), DM300M

 
  • Engineer Install Machine
Your engineer will make a request for collection upon installing your new equipment. 

If your new machine has been installed for 5 or more working days and your old equipment has not been collected, please contact us, quoting the serial number of the old machine or your Pitney Bowes account number, and we will arrange collection of your meter.

Contract Termination

At the point of termination, we will arrange for a courier to collect your meter. The courier will contact you directly with details regarding the date and time of the collection.

Note: The meter you are returning must be placed in a box for the courier to take it. It does not need to be placed in its original box. However, must be in a box large enough to close and seal.




Unused Postage

If you have unused postage left on your old meter, this will be refunded once your old machine has been returned. Your unused funds will be transferred to your Pitney Bowes account within 10 working days, of the return of your old meter. 

If you have terminated your contract, your unused postage will be refunded via cheque from the Royal Mail, this can take up to 6 weeks to complete. 

Note: Unused postage credit will always be issued back to your account. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer credit between machines.
