How to build a report to send out letters for applications in Confirm®.

When buidling a report to send out letters for applications on Confirm you need to create an expression.

If one of the values is null and you add to to a field with data the combined result is null. This is the way SQL works and the expression builder in Confirm works the same way. To avoid the problem you have to see if a field has any data in it before you add it to another one. You could either rewrite the expression of base it on this:

IF((len({Customer Forename}) > 0), {Customer Forename},"" ) + ", " + 
IF((len({Customer Name}) > 0), {Customer Name},"" ) + ", " + 
IF((len({Property Address}) > 0), {Property Address},"" ) + ", " +

IF((len({Town Name}) > 0), {Town Name},"" ) + ", " +
