How to create a user on the Connect+ series and SendPro P series

Products affected: Connect+® 500W, Connect+® 1000, Connect+® 2000, Connect+® 3000, SendPro® P1000, SendPro® P1500, SendPro® P2000, SendPro® P3000
Follow these steps to create a user:

Note: Supervisor access rights are required to create a user.
  1. Select the Settings button under Mailing on the Home screen. The Settings screen displays.
  2. Select System from the list on the left side of the screen.
  3. Select Users.
  4. Make sure Enable User logins... in checked.
  5. Select Add new. The Create Users screen displays.
  6. Select the Username field to add the new username.
  7. Enter the username and select OK.
  8. If passwords are required on your system, select the Password field.
  9. Enter the password and select OK.
Note: Passwords are required for users with supervisor access.
  1. Select the appropriate user role: OPERATOR or SUPERVISOR.
    • Supervisors have full access and create other users, You must have 1 Supervisor.
    • Operators may be restricted from certain functions such as refilling the meter.  A supervisor can set the restrictions on the Roles setup tab.
  2. If necessary, select the Password hint field to add a password hint.
  3. Enter the hint and select OK.
  4. Select OK to return to the user settings screen.
  5. Select the House Icon at the top of the screen to return to the Home screen.
