How to make BIT datatype compatible in Portrait Dialogue

As per the Portrait Dialogue's reference guide (attached) all versions, BIT datatype is not supported in SQL Server database. This can be achieved by making a small change in the domain query and the compatibility between BIT datatype and Portrait can be arranged.

Following domain query is a simple SQL query to select the rows from the database. Adding line (highlighted in bold) in the domain query, helps the selections work in the Visual Dialogue for the BIT datatype.
,[BitColumn] = CASE [BitColumn] WHEN 1 THEN 'T' ELSE 'F' END
FROM [Customer].[dbo].[database]
