How to convert adjacent polygons into polylines segmented at each intersection in MapInfo Pro

To convert adjacent polygons into polylines that breaks at each intersection:

In 32-bit MapInfo Pro, load MapCAD Tool from Tools -> Tool Manager
On the Object toolbar, use the following tools in numerical order:

  1. Select all the polygons and click on "Split to Lines" tool - This will convert the polygons to lines
  2. Select all the lines and click on "Combine" tool, accept default settings - This will combine all the lines into a single multi polyline
  3. Select the multi polyline and click on "Disaggregate" tool, accept default settings - This breaks the single multi polyline into different polylines which separates at each intersection

In 64-bit MapInfo Pro, load MapCAD tool by going to Home Tab -> Tools (Registered tab).
Hover over MapCAD tool and click on Load Tool

Click the following tools under Spatial tab

       1. Select all polygons and click on "Disaggregate to Lines" option

        2. Select all the lines and click on "Combine Selected Objects" option, accept defaults and Click OK

      3. Select the multi polyline and click on "Disaggregate" option, Click Next and then OK
