Subject: Update to IV-MTR Data Delegation Rules
Attention users:
The Informed Visibility® Mail Tracking & Reporting (IV®-MTR) application currently provides data delegation at a data field level. When a new field is made available, a party receiving delegated data would need to add the new field to their data feeds as well as ensure the field is delegated to them. Without an approved delegation for the field, the receiving party would not see any data populated for the field.
The IV-MTR team discussed simplifying this process during the Mailers’ Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) User Group 4 (UG4) meeting on Wednesday, May 2. With consensus from UG4 mailing industry representatives, an update to all approved data delegations was successfully implemented on Thursday, May 10. This update provided mailers visibility into all data fields currently available in IV-MTR including those that were recently added after the data delegation was approved.
Please note that this update only affected approved data delegations. Data feeds were not changed. If you wish to receive data for a specific data field, you must modify your data feeds to include that data field.
