Following error message is encountered on adding a AD/LDAP user in EngageOne Server Admin:
<date-time> | ERROR | org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper] Incorrect syntax near ')'. <date-time> | ERROR | com.pb.viewpoint.rest.client.spring.CustomResponseErrorHandler] The server has thrown an error fail - [The id passed does not exist.]
This could be caused if the username contains symbols - in this case ')'. AD/LDAP user with name containing symbol(s) are not allowed to added in EngageOne.

This is expected behavior with a AD/LDAP user name containing a symbol so symbol(s) (any character that is not Alphanumeric) from user name should be removed.
