Resolve error "Unable to locate the server named servername --- the server does not have a DNS entry" in Spectrum Spatial Analyst

Issue

When trying to access the Analyst Connect Mobile interface then the following error is encountered:

However, the Spectrum Spatial Analyst Admin Console is available.

 

Cause

This is caused by an error with the local network.

Resolution

UPDATED: October 11, 2017
You will need to ask their IT department to investigate as this is not a Spectrum Spatial Analyst error. A workaround is to use the IP address of the server instead of the server name.
