Resolve 'Server Cannot Process Your Request at this Time' in EngageOne Delivery Audit


 

Issue

While creating a user in EngageOne Delivery Audit Identity Service User Interface, error 'Server Cannot Process Your Request at this Time' is encountered.

Following error is recorded in Identity Server log:
1. The remote server returned an message: (401) Unauthorized.
2. The remote server returned an message: (500) Internal Server Error

Cause

This could be caused due to inappropriate Application Pool identity in Internet Information Services (IIS).

Resolution

These is a generic messages. Following steps may resolve this:
 
1. Open IIS manager (Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Internet Information Services Manager OR Start | Run | inetmgr)
2. Expand the “Application Pools” node.
3. Right click on the application pool used by EngageOne Delivery Audit Web application and then select 'Advanced Settings'.
4. In the Advanced Setting window, scroll down to 'Identity'.
5. Choose “Local System” in the Predefined drop down list.
