Resolve missing batch counter on the DM300, DM400, DM450 and DM475

Products affected: DM300C™, DM400C™, DM450C™, DM475™

Issue

The meter previously displayed the batch counter on the screen, but is no longer displaying it.

Cause

The wrong type of accounting package is enabled on the meter (standard accounting instead of Inview).

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps to enable Inview accounting:

Note: The optional Inview accounting package and a memory device is required. If you do not already have Inview accounting, contact your Pitney Bowes Sales Representative for information about options and pricing.
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Account Type.
  4. Select Inview.
If there are no accounts currently created, the system will prompt you to create an account:
  1. Select Create an Account.
  2. Enter the Account Name.
  3. Select Accept.
  4. Select Done.
  5. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
