e-Messaging: Error "Folder does not exist" for Outbound Profile

Issue


Error appears while configuring Outbound Profile’s “Folder Download” as "Folder does not exist" though path given is accessible and valid.




 

Cause

The UNC path/local directory in Outbound Profile’s “Folder Download” textbox will be validated after clicking on 'Save'. If the path/directory is not reachable, this error is shown.
 

Resolution

UPDATED: April 12, 2017
Ensure to restart e-Messaging server to reflect changes done in outbound profile otherwise e-messaging will still refer to the old local directory set in the Outbound Profile in e-Messaging server.
