Resolve issue with imported Spectrum key not moving into archive folder

Issue

Customer received a Spectrum permanent key from Product Distribution Services (PDS) and copies the key into the \server\app\import\ folder.

If a key is successful or if there is an error processing the key, the processed key will go into either \server\app\import\archive or server\app\import\error folder. In this case, the key is sitting in the import folder.

Cause

The file extension ".key" is case sensitive. The file extension of the customer's key was in capital letters e.g. ".KEY".

Resolution

UPDATED: April 28, 2017


Rename the the extension from ".KEY" to ".key". After making the change, the key will import successfully.
