Resolve error "The file is generating, please try again" in eMessaging for EngageOne Digital Delivery

Issue

Message shown "The file is generating, please try again" but no report gets downloaded.

Cause

eMessaging use openoffice when report is exported in PDF so openoffice should be installed and configured with the eMessaging.

During installing, eMessaging ask for openoffice details (hostname & port etc) and in this case it was not configured during installation.

To configure the details find the openoffice property file located in <>\WEB-INF\classes, host and port info has to be given in openoffice.servers as below

openoffice.servers=localhost:8100
