Resolve missing icon in Workspace Manager for database connection in MapXtreme 7.2

Issue

Missing icon in Workspace Manager for database connection in MapXtreme 7.2 ​as shown below.

Cause

Workspace Manager is designed using a setting of 96 DPI . Changing this setting to other than 96 DPI, might cause problems with display menus or graphics (oversized menus or missing areas of Windows).
 

Resolution

UPDATED: March 27, 2017


 Set "Adjust for best appearance" in computer properties.
  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Right-click Computer.
  3. Choose “Properties” from the context menu.
  4. In the left panel, click “Advanced system settings”.
  5. In the Performance section, click “Settings” button.
  6. The dialog box shown in the figure below will open.​

  8. Make sure “Visual Effects” tab is selected.
  9. Choose adjust for best appearance.
  10. Click “OK” and then “OK”.
