Cause

Possible cause is the end-user didn't have full access to their installation directory.

Resolution

UPDATED: April 21, 2017
Manually registering ActiveX using the following instructions resolved the issue. Make sure the end-user has full access to their installation directory

1. Close all browsers windows.
2. Locate the installed Interactive Editor (typically in C:\Program Files\PBBI CCM\DOC1\EngageOne Interactive Editor).
3. Unregister ActiveX manually from command prompt using "RegSvr32 /u EoEditor.ocx" command.
4. Register ActiveX manually from command prompt using "RegSvr32 EoEditor.ocx" command.

For Windows 7, to run RegSvr32 command on command prompt, you have to open the command prompt in administrator mode.

Use Internet Explorer 8 or whatever version of IE is currently supported in the EngageOne requirements.
