The default job does not update after a rate download on the Connect+ series and SendPro P series

Issue

The default job does not update after you download your rate change file.

Cause

Your job is not set up for use with a class of mail.

Resolution

UPDATED: January 11, 2019
Note: This process sets the default job as a first class letter. Substitute another class of mail as the default if a first class letter is not your preference.

Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
  1. Press Run Mail from the Home screen.
  2. Select Class.
  3. Select First Class.
  4. Select First Class Letter.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Select Save as... when the Main Run screen displays.
  7. Name your job.
  8. Select the Home icon.
  9. Select Jobs.
  10. Select the job you just saved.
  11. Select Options.
  12. Select Make this job the default job.
  13. Select the Home icon.
  14. Select Run Mail.
  15. Select Start Over. The Main Run screen now displays the correct amount.
