Portrait Dialogue - Killed dialog restarts automatically

Sometimes when executing a Dialog in Portrait Dialogue, the decision is made to kill it and it restarts automatically.

Normally the reason to kill the Dialog is because something is wrong, and/or needs to be changed before executing it again.

There are several reasons why a Dialog would restart automatically.

2 of the main reasons for this would be:
  • Participants have been moved, and they are ready to be processed by the next operation because it is set for waterfall execution
  • There is a scheduled operation executing either because it has been missed, or it is time to run.

Before killing the Dialog, deactivate the operation that was executing.
This is the only way to make sure it will not start up
