Issue

e-Messaging: System times out when try to reset pwd or create new user. After upgrade to e-Messaging 1.4m8, When client try to reset the password or create a new profile and click on submit , the application hangs and times out.

Cause

After update e-Messaging is important make sure the security.xml file on weblogic has  the same values of the security.xml file in e-Messaging

Resolution

The security.xml must have the same values on the Weblogic. to After changing xml in weblogic :security.xml to reflect the same values from e-Messaging : security.xml file, cleaned the temp directory of Weblogic  and reset the application the issue was resolved.


Install Location File has below value:

<property name="alphaNumericRequired" value="true" />

While weblogic has below value:

<bean id="password" class="com.g1.emessaging.util.Password" scope="prototype">
<property name="passwordEncoder" ref="passwordEncoder" />
<property name="minLength" value="6" />
</bean>

which means changes have not been reflected into Weblogic.
