Resolve "Select Error : Column lists do not match" in Confirm

Product Feature: Ad-hoc Reporting

"Select Error : Column lists do not match" error occurs when trying to save a datasource in V15.10b.

In Confirm V15.10b the interpretation of the data source SQL has changed in the way that it interacts with the latest version of Oracle.

The error is indicating that the data type of one or more of the named columns in the datasource SQL does not match the data type of the field in the confirm table that has the same filed name.

For example the data source SQL may reference a column name as a string type but Confirm 'knows' that this field is a date column.

The easiest way to get around this is for the SQL to be altered so that it does not fall into this trap,

for example, the datasource SQL :

TO_CHAR(j.actual_start_date, 'DD-MM-YYYY') as Actual_Start_Date,

changes so that the column name no longer matches a real one, for example:

TO_CHAR(j.actual_start_date, 'DD-MM-YYYY') as Actual_Start_Date_Text,
