Resolve Enquiry Commitments set to 'Commitment Not Required' by the system in Confirm

You notice the message Commitment Not Required on an Enquiry Commitment, after changing the Enquiry's Subject.


Confirm® will mark unresolved Enquiry Commitments as Not Required if the Enquiry's Subject is changed to another that does not require the same Commitment to be fulfilled.

Customer Commitments will need to the linked to the new Enquiry's Subject.

This is currently working as designed as of Confirm v17.2.

We advise that all custom reports (Data Miner/Data Source) regarding Commitments take the column enquiry_commitment.commit_reqd_flag into account. This is a Y/N value which stipulates whether the Commitment is still valid, and will be set to N should the Commitment not be required.
