Resolve issue where the Selection Criteria are Obscured in Portrait Dialogue

Portrait Dialogue version 6 and 6.1

Issue

When a user is trying to view the “Count” field on an expression within Visual Dialogue with the various logic groups expanded and populated the number is partially hidden by the scroll bar therefore making it impossible to see the counts for each selection.

Steps to recreate:

  • Open Visual Dialogue
  • Go to 'Selections'
  • Selections name
  • On this new tab create criteria so that the Criteria description exceeds the space on the window and a scroll bar is needed to view all detail
  • Right-click on criteria description and select 'Count selected node' - this will populate the 'Count' column on the left hand side

At this point it appears that the overall width of the three columns does not take into consideration the vertical scroll bar as it is only when this is present that the view is obstructed as attached screen shot shows.

Cause

It is a bug that has been raised to the engineers.

Resolution

UPDATED: August 21, 2017

The workarounds for this case are as below:

  • Increasing the size of the Dialogue window
  • Collapsing the various logic groups

In the meantime this issue has been raised to Developer Support where the fix will take place.
