Resolve incomplete 'Byte Order Mark' data processed by 'delimited text file source' transform in Sagent

Issue

While using 'Byte Order Mark' i.e. BOM file in a 'delimited text file source' transform, complete data is not displayed in row / columns. For example only two characters
are visible however data contains more than two characters.

Cause

Sagent supports ASCII (Byte Order Mark File) but in few scenarios, it is not able to retrieve the meta-data. This may depend on way source file is created or
encoded originally (PC, Unix, Mac, etc).

Resolution

UPDATED: December 22, 2017

Possible workarounds is to copy all the file content in a notepad / textpad and then save the file and use this file further.
If the issue is still not resolved, contact client support.
