Resolve issue where image resolution changes after imported into EngageOne Content Author


Image resolution changes after imported into Content Author.  The original image resolution was 96 dpi but changed to a different resolution after it was imported into Content Author.


The suspected cause for the image resolution change may have been the software that created the image might have embedded information into the image that wasn't standard and therefore Content Author couldn't properly understand the properties.


UPDATED: August 2, 2017
Two options may solve this issue:
1) Try saving the image in a different format.  For example, if the original image was JPG, try saving it as a BMP.
2) Try saving the image using different software.  For example, try opening the image with Windows Paint and then saving.
