How to resolve a CODE-1 Plus error "LACSLINK ERROR: 20126: RESTART KEY OR SECURITY FILE NOT CORRECT" on the z/OS platform

Issue

Executing a CODE-1 Plus job results in error "LACSLINK ERROR: 20126: RESTART KEY OR SECURITY FILE NOT CORRECT".

Cause

This error is caused by a missing LACS security file and/or LACS key.

Resolution

UPDATED: September 13, 2017
The following LACS Security file and LACSLink Key must be defined in your JCL:
 
//LLKSUD    DD   DSN=yourhlq.LACSSUD,DISP=SHR
//LACSKEY   DD   DSN=yourhlq.LACSKEY,DISP=SHR
  
These are installed as part of a new release install.  These have not changed from release-to-release, so it is possible to use a previous LACSLink Security file and LACSLink Key.
