Resolve EngageOne Non-Accumulated Batch failing regardless of template used

Issue

When running Non-Accumulated Batch (NA Batch), all jobs will fail to produce output. When looking in the log files the following error will be displayed:
  • [name: NAPrintArchiveBatchNew] java.lang.NullPointerException at java.io.File.(File.java:233)

Cause

The reason for the NA Batch failing to run is there is no licence installed in EngageOne

Resolution

UPDATED: September 29, 2017
Obtain and install a vaild licence file within the EngageOne Admin page (default address: http://<server name>:8080/EngageOneAdmin) and then re-run the NA Batch job. There is no need to restart EngageOne for the changes to take effect.
