Resolve Error 1714 when upgrading EngageOne Designer

Issue

The error below is occurred when upgrading EngageOne Designer from one version to another later version.

Cause

This error occurs because the remnant files of previous EngageOne Designer installation are still there which prevent the upgrade to continue.

Resolution

UPDATED: November 8, 2017
To resolve this, it is required to completely uninstall the previous installed version of EngageOne Designer.

This can be done in Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or using the Microsoft Cleanup Utility.

It is also required to uninstall EngageOne Designer using the same user who had installed the product initially.
