How to fix Error: Unable to load mapConfig/renderAvailableLayers in Spectrum Spatial Analyst Admin Console

Issue

User clicks the 'Add maps' button in SSA admin console. Error message is generated:

adminconsole.js:14 Error: Unable to load mapConfig/renderAvailableLayers?now=1505196656085 status:500
at Object._28d [as resHandle] (adminconsole.js:14)
at func (adminconsole.js:14)
at _286 (adminconsole.js:14)

And Spectrum wrapper.log also has an error message:
INFO | jvm 1 | 2017/09/25 12:13:21 | ERROR [ExceptionLoggingAspect] A resource in the search results no longer exists.
INFO | jvm 1 | 2017/09/25 12:13:21 | com.mapinfo.midev.service.namedresource.ws.v1.ServiceException: A resource in the search results no longer exists.
INFO | jvm 1 | 2017/09/25 12:13:21 | at com.mapinfo.midev.service.namedresource.NamedResourceServiceProxy.buildServiceException(NamedResourceServiceProxy.java:760)

Map layers are accessible from the Spatial manager and preview on namedmap shows map as well. But user is unable to add those maps into SSA admin due to error message.

Cause

This is due to corruption of the Jackrabbit spatial repository index.
