Resolving high resolution display issues in Portrait Dialogue

Sometimes in Portrait Dialogue a message template may open with odd formatting or simply blank, with no text showing.  
There may also be error messages appearing mentioning "An outgoing call cannot be made since the application is dispatching an input-synchronous call."


Portrait Dialogue had not been written to deal with the new high resolution monitors prior to version 6.2.
When this issue was reported, the clients were using a 27” monitor with 2560x1440 resolution.

The error message is the result of refresh or reloading attempts.  


UPDATED: April 26, 2018
Workaround is to use a lower resolution.  
This has not been reported when using 1920x1200 resolution

The solution is to upgrade to Portrait Dialogue version 6.2, where this issue has been fixed.
