VERIFIED SOLUTION i
After purge execution in EngageOne server, free disk space from the disk on which active-drive is located, does not get recovered.
This is a defect in EngageOne 3.1.2, between 22.214.171.124 build 43 and 126.96.36.199 build 96.

This has been fixed in EngageOne server versions 188.8.131.52 build 102 and later.
