'An incorrect file was selected. Please select a valid template file.' message in EngageOne 4.X

Issue

Error - "An incorrect file was selected. Please select a valid template file." encounters while importing template.zip of size more than 30 MB in EngageOne Admin. Same template zip gets imported in other environment having same version of EngageOne Server.

Import operation fails with this message every time fails after a certain time.

 

Cause

This could be caused due to lower network timeout value. For example, if network timeout setting is set as 60 seconds then template.zip importing process stops after 60 seconds after import attempt.

Resolution

UPDATED: July 5, 2018
Check the time (in seconds) after which error occurs every time after import attempt and if this turns out to be same, contact local IT team/Network team in order to check / modify the network timeout setting.
