Resolve Spectrum Data Federation and Visual Insights do not start up

Issue

Spectrum Data Federation and Visual Insights do not startup after populating datamarts. This can happen due to the fields used.
Upon accessing http://hostname:port/managementconsole/#/SDF/viDataMartManagement an error
"Problem occurred in the server. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. Error code: 404" is thrown.

The wrapper.log will also reveal messages like
1) ERROR [ScanDirectoryHandler] Unable to deploy file [sdf-spectrum-11.0.car]
   com.g1.dcg.server.deploy.DeploymentException: Unable to deploy CAR; /server/app/tmp/sdf-spectrum-11.0.car  AND
2) Caused by: com.pb.spectrum.platform.server.common.jmx.CLAwareSerialization$SerializationException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.pb.spectrum.edv.connectors.internaldatastore.BICacheCreationException.



 

Cause

This is a bug.

Apply 11.0 S07 patch to get the data federation module running.
