How To Clear EngageOne Designer localcache

There are a couple of ways to clear the local cache. By directly moving or deleting the actual folder manually, or by selecting the appropriate setting in EngageOne Designer.

  1. Ensure your EngageOne Designer instance is not running
  2. Open the directory "%temp%\DOC1 Workcenter\" (you can just paste this without the quotes in the run dialog from the start menu).
  3. If you cannot find the folder there, it might be set differently in your Work Center preferences - check there under Tools->WorkCenter Preferences.
  4. Rename "LOCALCACHE" to e.g. "LOCALCACHE.bak" or move it to another location.
  5. When you restart Workcenter a new LOCALCACHE folder will be created.
Set Workcenter to clear cache on every startup:
  1. In the EngageOne Designer, under Tools | WorkCenter Preferences, check the box that says "empty local cache on startup."
  2. Restart Designer
