Resolving characters not correct when copying from MS Word to Designer

Copying & pasting text from 3rd-party software to Doc1 Designer is not recommended due to differences in how each software maps characters.  Using unicode fonts and setting the language in Designer may help but if that doesn't work, the recommendation is that characters be typed in the Doc1 Designer for proper character mapping.
