VERIFIED SOLUTION i

Designer V6 AFP Font install question

When you import an AFP coded font (X0nnnnnn), it automatically brings the corresponding character set (C0nnnnnn) and code page (T1nnnnnn) with it.  Attempting to import a coded font without these components will fail.

Also, when you import an AFP font into Designer, it is automatically added to the Default Resource Map in all strands, and cannot be deleted, even if it is never used.

You can also opt to import the character set and code page pair, and to ensure that the code page associated with the character set is picked up, you will need to map the Windows font created during the import of the AFP to the character set and code page imported.
